When a loved one's health changes your role. Nobody puts that on a vision board, but people live it every day. Before action comes agreement, so notice what you are agreeing with. What repeats automatically often depends on never being examined. Your body is temporary and still worthy of wise stewardship. Treat your body with wisdom while keeping your identity anchored beyond it. You can make a different choice before you feel completely different. The next right response matters more than producing a dramatic moment.

What would you choose if you were not trying to protect the familiar pattern? What would obedience require if the familiar answer is not the faithful one?

Jesus Christ, I want this response to be led by You rather than by an old pattern. Give me a new response that reflects Your truth rather than my history. Amen.
