When a relative uses Scripture to control you. It is easy to sound spiritual until this is the thing sitting in front of you. Breakthrough is not always a visible change around you. Refusing the automatic response can be the beginning of freedom. Generational patterns may be familiar, but familiarity does not make them permanent. The old family script does not outrank the transforming work of Jesus Christ. Do not let the reflex write the next part automatically. Let truth, not habit, decide what you do next.

Lord Jesus, interrupt the old reflex before it takes control of this moment. Make my mind steady and my heart teachable so I can choose obedience. Amen.
