God is able to supply what you truly need according to His riches in Christ.

When a surprise expense arrives at the worst time. That sounds small until it is your Tuesday morning. You do not have to deny what is happening. Christianity is not pretending. The question is whether the circumstance gets to become lord over the meaning of your life. Money is a tool and a stewardship issue, not a measure of your worth or God's love. Jesus Christ is still Lord when the numbers make you nervous. You are allowed to slow down long enough to choose obedience instead of repetition.

What part of this situation belongs to you, and what part are you trying to carry for God?

Jesus Christ, I release my need to control how this turns out. Help me steward what You actually placed in my hands and trust You with what You did not. Amen.
