When aging becomes visible

Worry cannot add a single hour to your life.

Matthew 6:27

When aging becomes visible. It is easy to sound spiritual until this is the thing sitting in front of you. Sometimes the first change is simply recognizing the pattern sooner. A different response is evidence that the old script is not in charge. Physical limitation does not erase dignity, and physical ability does not create it. Let Jesus Christ shape the way you care for a body that is valuable but not ultimate. Reflex is fast, but truth can still interrupt it. The next chapter can begin with a different response.

Which part of this are you treating as if everything depends on you? How could you remain responsible without trying to become sovereign?

Lord, catch the old pattern before I follow it again. Renew my thinking and strengthen me for the next right action. Amen.
