When being single starts sounding like a diagnosis
There is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.
Romans 8:1
When being single starts sounding like a diagnosis. You can look completely fine on the outside while this is doing a number on you inside. Feeling fear, rejection, shame, or exhaustion does not make you wrong. The important question is what you permit the emotion to decide for you. Other people's opinions are poor foundations for identity. Your life is held in Christ before it is evaluated by people. You do not need to secure the outcome before you can be faithful. Let obedience, not outcome management, measure today's faithfulness.
How are you turning this circumstance into a final judgment about yourself or your future? How would that change your next response?
Jesus, I give up the illusion that I can secure every result. Help me act responsibly without crossing into control. Amen.
