When chronic illness interrupts your plans. That sounds small until it is your Tuesday morning. You can face the facts without giving them the final word. What is happening can be acknowledged without becoming the ruler of your identity. Physical limitation does not erase dignity, and physical ability does not create it. Treat your body with wisdom while keeping your identity anchored beyond it. Take the next moment more slowly than the old pattern wants you to. A deliberate response can interrupt what has repeated for years.

What would a clear boundary between your part and God's part look like? What can you entrust to Jesus Christ after you have been faithful with your part?

Jesus Christ, interrupt the part of me that wants to react before listening to truth. Renew my thinking and strengthen me for the next right action. Amen.
