When comparison sneaks into parenting. The situation may be ordinary, but the story you attach to it can shape the whole day. A hard feeling often creates an appetite for the fastest exit. Let obedience outrank immediate relief. Loving your child well does not require becoming the lord of their future. Jesus Christ loves your child beyond the limits of your ability to protect, fix, or direct. The whole story does not have to become clear this morning. The next decision is enough ground for obedience today.

What verse or biblical reality needs to become stronger than the emotional conclusion? What response would agree with Scripture rather than the reflex?

Jesus, I give up the illusion that I can secure every result. Let me do my part with integrity and leave Your part in Your hands. Amen.
