Patient waiting is active, like a farmer expecting a harvest.

When delay is revealing what hurry hid. There is usually more happening here than the obvious problem. There is a difference between acknowledging reality and surrendering your identity to it. One is wisdom. The other is captivity. Waiting is not proof that God has forgotten you. Jesus Christ is present in the part of the story that has no visible movement yet. Bring the real problem to Jesus Christ, not the polished version. He already knows what is underneath.

Jesus Christ, I release my need to control how this turns out. Help me steward what You actually placed in my hands and trust You with what You did not. Amen.
