When everybody is celebrating and you are surviving

God is the source of hope and can fill you with joy and peace as you trust Him.

Romans 15:13

When everybody is celebrating and you are surviving. It is easy to sound spiritual until this is the thing sitting in front of you. The situation may remain the same while something important changes in you. Awareness becomes powerful when it leads to obedience instead of repetition. Biblical hope is not pretending life will unfold exactly as you pictured. The resurrection of Jesus Christ gives hope a foundation circumstances cannot remove. You can stop the next chapter from being written on autopilot. Truth is allowed to overrule what feels automatic.

Where is control masquerading as responsibility? What would change if you trusted Jesus Christ with the result?

Lord, I give You both my understanding and my confusion. Keep me honest, teachable, and anchored in You as I respond. Amen.
