When everybody wants results but nobody wants the process

Work wholeheartedly as for the Lord, not merely for human approval.

Colossians 3:23

When everybody wants results but nobody wants the process. This is where faith gets practical. The thought that follows the moment deserves examination. Repeated thoughts can sound authoritative without actually being true. Your work deserves stewardship, but it does not deserve your identity. Jesus Christ remains your source whether work is thriving, changing, or absent. You do not have to change everything at once. Place this decision under the lordship of Jesus Christ and move from there.

If you were helping a trusted friend through this, what would you say first? What keeps you from receiving the same wisdom?

Lord Jesus Christ, I bring You what I understand and what I cannot make sense of. Do not let shame or loneliness make the next decision for me. Teach me Your way. Amen.
