When following Jesus Christ makes you different

The gospel centers on Christ crucified for our sins and raised from the dead.

1 Corinthians 15:3-4

When following Jesus Christ makes you different. It is easy to sound spiritual until this is the thing sitting in front of you. Not every breakthrough arrives as a solved problem. A different response is evidence that the old script is not in charge. Spiritual maturity is not pretending doubt, fatigue, or disappointment never visit. Faith can be honest about weakness while still resting in the finished work of Christ. Let Scripture challenge the response that usually comes first. The next chapter can begin with a different response.

What outcome are you trying to secure by sheer effort? How could you remain responsible without trying to become sovereign?

Jesus Christ, I surrender what I cannot guarantee or force. Give me courage to be faithful without demanding certainty. Amen.
