When forgiving yourself feels harder than forgiving them

The Lord is near to the brokenhearted.

Psalm 34:18

When forgiving yourself feels harder than forgiving them. Nobody puts that on a vision board, but people live it every day. Before you respond, notice the belief this moment is trying to hand you. Truth needs a moment to speak before habit takes the microphone. Recovery begins with truth, not denial. Christ can make room for grief, truth, forgiveness, and a future beyond the injury. You do not need an emotional breakthrough to move differently today. Choose what is true even if the old feeling is still present.

Are you genuinely looking for wisdom here? Where might Scripture disagree with the response you prefer?

Jesus Christ, I refuse to let a familiar pattern become my automatic answer again. Strengthen me to choose obedience where repetition once felt automatic. Amen.
