When healing changes who has access to you
2 Corinthians 12:9
Christ's grace is sufficient, and His power is made perfect in weakness.
When healing changes who has access to you. You can look completely fine on the outside while this is doing a number on you inside. The first feeling is not always the problem. The problem is what you let that feeling authorize. Fear can authorize control. Rejection can authorize chasing. Shame can authorize hiding. Exhaustion can authorize choices you would not make from a clear mind. Healing does not require pretending it did not hurt. Jesus Christ can meet you in the wound without letting the wound become your identity. The goal today is not to control the outcome. It is to stay aligned with Christ while the outcome is still unknown.
What would change if you stopped treating this moment like a verdict?
Jesus, interrupt whatever is automatic in me that does not look like Your truth. Give me a clear mind, a guarded heart, and the courage to do the next faithful thing. Amen.
