When loneliness makes the wrong person look right. It is easy to sound spiritual until this is the thing sitting in front of you. Sometimes the breakthrough is not a dramatic change in circumstances. Sometimes it is catching the old pattern before you obey it again. Love does not require you to ignore wisdom. Jesus Christ can teach you to love people without handing them authority He never gave them. Let truth interrupt the reflex before the reflex becomes another chapter.

What are you trying to control because you are afraid to trust God with the outcome?

Lord Jesus Christ, I bring You the part I can explain and the part I cannot. Keep me from reacting out of fear, shame, pride, or loneliness. Teach me to move with You. Amen.
