Refusing the automatic response can be the beginning of freedom. Your identity is larger than the role, title, appearance, or approval attached to you. Your life is held in Christ before it is evaluated by people. Give truth a chance to interrupt what usually happens next. Let truth, not habit, decide what you do next.
