When nothing looks different yet

Patient waiting is active, like a farmer expecting a harvest.

James 5:7-8

When nothing looks different yet. The situation may be ordinary, but the story you attach to it can shape the whole day. You may feel pressure to do something simply so the tension will decrease. What calms the moment may still keep the deeper pattern alive. The unanswered middle is not proof that you have been overlooked. Let Christ meet you in the delay instead of interpreting the delay as rejection. Today does not need to carry the weight of your entire life. Let Jesus Christ have the final word for this moment.

What has God said that your first reaction is currently ignoring? How can you give that truth practical authority in your next decision?

Lord, I release the part of me that believes peace depends on controlling the outcome. Help me act responsibly without crossing into control. Amen.
