Do not fear, God is with you and will strengthen and uphold you.

Isaiah 41:10

When one bad experience becomes your forecast. This is the kind of moment that can expose what has really been running underneath. Much of this may be outside your control. You can still choose what receives your agreement and what you place in Christ's hands. Fear is skilled at turning possibility into a forecast. Let Christ, not fear, have authority over what you believe about what comes next. Do the next thing that faithfulness requires. Leave the outcome where it belongs: in God's hands.

Jesus Christ, interrupt the part of me that wants to react before listening to truth. Give me clarity and courage to respond differently this time. Amen.
