When parenting does not get easier, only different. The situation may be ordinary, but the story you attach to it can shape the whole day. Be careful when urgency is mainly the desire to feel better immediately. Let obedience outrank immediate relief. A parent's love can be fierce, and it still has limits. Your role is to love, guide, pray, and obey; the deepest keeping of your child belongs to God. One day is not responsible for resolving every unanswered question. The next decision is enough ground for obedience today.
