1 Samuel 1:27-28

When parenting exposes your control issues. You can look completely fine on the outside while this is doing a number on you inside. The emotion deserves attention, but not unquestioned authority. A clear mind can acknowledge the feeling without letting it write the next action. Loving your child well does not require becoming the lord of their future. Your child ultimately belongs to God, and Jesus Christ can lead where your reach ends. You are not responsible for manufacturing certainty. Choose alignment with Jesus Christ over the illusion of control.

What are you calling final that may only be current? What would you do differently if you refused to let this define you?

Jesus Christ, I release my demand to control how this situation ends. Let me do my part with integrity and leave Your part in Your hands. Amen.
