When patience feels passive

Lamentations 3:25-26

The Lord is good to those who seek Him and wait for Him.

When patience feels passive. This is the kind of moment that can expose what has really been running underneath. You may not control the other person, the timing, the number, the diagnosis, or the outcome. You do control what you agree with and what you bring to Jesus Christ. Waiting is not proof that God has forgotten you. Jesus Christ is present in the part of the story that has no visible movement yet. Do the next faithful thing, then stop trying to carry the part that belongs to God.

Which reaction feels automatic here, and what would obedience look like instead?

Jesus, interrupt whatever is automatic in me that does not look like Your truth. Give me a clear mind, a guarded heart, and the courage to do the next faithful thing. Amen.
