When perfectionism keeps the work unfinished. It is easy to sound spiritual until this is the thing sitting in front of you. Breakthrough is not always a visible change around you. A different response is evidence that the old script is not in charge. A pattern is worth confronting when it repeatedly makes the decision before you do. Bring the habit under Christ's lordship instead of letting repetition become authority. Do not let the reflex write the next part automatically. The next chapter can begin with a different response.

What part of this are you trying hardest to control? How could you remain responsible without trying to become sovereign?

Jesus, I stop treating control as if it were the same thing as faithfulness. Let me do my part with integrity and leave Your part in Your hands. Amen.
