When privacy is not secrecy

Let your yes be yes and your no be no.

Matthew 5:37

When privacy is not secrecy. This is the kind of moment that can expose what has really been running underneath. Not everything involved in this situation belongs in your hands. Bring your actual part to Jesus Christ and release the role you were never given. A boundary is not automatically punishment or rejection. Follow Christ in what you allow, what you refuse, and what you stop carrying. Be faithful with the next concrete step. Do not turn responsibility into an attempt at control.
