When rest is medically necessary but emotionally difficult. This is the kind of moment that can expose what has really been running underneath. The outcome may remain outside your authority. Stay responsible for your response without pretending you are responsible for everything. Your body is temporary and still worthy of wise stewardship. Let Jesus Christ shape the way you care for a body that is valuable but not ultimate. Take care of your part with integrity. Faithfulness has a boundary; let God remain God beyond it.

Lord Jesus, help me stop repeating what no longer agrees with Your truth. Give me a new response that reflects Your truth rather than my history. Amen.
