When rest makes you feel lazy

Ask God for wisdom when the next move is unclear.

James 1:5

When rest makes you feel lazy. Nobody puts that on a vision board, but people live it every day. Pause long enough to hear the belief hiding beneath the emotion. Familiar reactions survive by outrunning careful truth. Productivity is a responsibility, not a savior. Serve with integrity, but keep your identity rooted in Christ rather than your output. You do not have to wait until your emotions catch up. Let truth be sufficient for the next faithful choice.

Are you asking Jesus Christ to lead, or asking Him to bless what you already decided? How can you tell the difference today?

Lord Jesus, stop the reflex in me that keeps repeating what You are trying to change. Give me clarity and courage to respond differently this time. Amen.
