When siblings remember the same childhood differently

2 Timothy 1:5

Faith can travel through generations, and so can a new pattern.

When siblings remember the same childhood differently. That sounds small until it is your Tuesday morning. You do not have to deny what is happening. Christianity is not pretending. The question is whether the circumstance gets to become lord over the meaning of your life. Family history explains some things, but it does not get to prophesy your future. Jesus Christ can interrupt what has repeated for generations. You are allowed to slow down long enough to choose obedience instead of repetition.

What part of this situation belongs to you, and what part are you trying to carry for God?

Jesus Christ, show me what is true in this situation and expose the story I have added to it. Give me wisdom for my part, courage to obey You, and enough trust to leave the outcome in Your hands. Amen.
