What matters is whether the circumstance gets authority over the meaning of your life. What repeated in your family can be acknowledged without being inherited as destiny. Let Jesus Christ teach you a different way where the family pattern has been automatic. Take the next moment more slowly than the old pattern wants you to. Choose obedience instead of repeating what is familiar.
