When somebody does not choose you

When somebody does not choose you. This is where faith gets practical. Listen to the sentence your mind produces after the first emotion. Test that sentence against Scripture before you let it settle in as truth. Performance can describe what you did, but it cannot establish what you are worth. Jesus Christ is the One with authority to name you. A single honest choice can become a turning point. Let Jesus Christ govern the choice in front of you.

If someone you deeply cared about were facing this same situation, what would you tell them? Why is that wisdom harder to offer yourself?

Jesus, interrupt the automatic response in me that does not agree with Your truth. Give me a clear mind, a guarded heart, and courage for the next faithful step. Amen.
