James 1:5

When somebody's silence becomes your obsession. You can look completely fine on the outside while this is doing a number on you inside. The emotion deserves attention, but not unquestioned authority. Feel what is present, then choose from truth rather than emotional momentum. Connection is not permission to abandon discernment. Jesus Christ can keep your heart tender without making your judgment blind. You are not responsible for manufacturing certainty. Your responsibility is to stay faithful while God remains responsible for what you cannot determine.

Where is one hard moment trying to become the whole story? How might hope reenter the room if this is not the final word?

Lord Jesus, I surrender the outcome I keep trying to manage. Lead me in the work that is mine and release me from carrying what is not. Amen.
