When someone treats your availability like an entitlement

Each person has responsibilities they must carry themselves.

Galatians 6:5

When someone treats your availability like an entitlement. This is where faith gets practical. Notice the conclusion that appears almost automatically. Jesus Christ is not obligated to agree with the conclusion fear wrote for you. Boundaries clarify what you will participate in; they do not exist to control another person. Jesus Christ never modeled unlimited access to every demand. One faithful decision can interrupt more than you realize. The pattern changes when Christ, not reflex, directs the next step.

What wise counsel would you give a person you love if this were their story? Which part of that advice do you need to follow yourself?

Lord Jesus, interrupt the old reflex before it takes control of this moment. Help me recognize truth quickly and act on it faithfully. Amen.
