When stewardship needs to become more practical. This is the kind of moment that can expose what has really been running underneath. You cannot carry every variable connected to this moment. Your responsibility is your response, your agreement, and your obedience before Jesus Christ. Money can reveal habits and fears, but it cannot tell you what you are worth. Handle money faithfully while keeping your trust anchored in Jesus Christ. Let obedience be specific and limited to what is yours to do. After that, stop carrying what was never assigned to you.

Where is habit trying to speak before wisdom does? How would a Christ-led response differ from that reflex?

Jesus, I stop treating control as if it were the same thing as faithfulness. Give me wisdom for my part and trust for everything beyond it. Amen.
