When surrender is the smartest strategy. You can look completely fine on the outside while this is doing a number on you inside. A feeling can be real without being qualified to lead. Let the feeling be information, not a command. Clarity is helpful, but total certainty is not the standard for obedience. The goal is not perfect foresight; it is a surrendered decision under Christ's lordship. Your peace cannot depend on forcing a particular result. Let Christ lead you through uncertainty instead of trying to eliminate it.

Where have you allowed one event to sound like a permanent sentence? What changes when you let Christ, not the circumstance, interpret your life?

Jesus, I stop treating control as if it were the same thing as faithfulness. Lead me in the work that is mine and release me from carrying what is not. Amen.
