When the answer takes longer than your patience

Those who wait on the Lord receive renewed strength.

Isaiah 40:31

When the answer takes longer than your patience. The situation may be ordinary, but the story you attach to it can shape the whole day. The urge to end the discomfort can make any fast answer look wise. What calms the moment may still keep the deeper pattern alive. A quiet season is not the same thing as divine absence. Jesus Christ is present in the part of the story that has not moved yet. You can stop demanding a complete solution from one difficult moment. Let Jesus Christ have the final word for this moment.

Which part of today's Scripture needs to interrupt your reflex? How can you give that truth practical authority in your next decision?

Jesus Christ, help me see this situation clearly instead of through the story fear has written. Teach me the next faithful step and help me trust You beyond it. Amen.
