When the boundary is for you to enforce, not them to approve
The prudent see danger and take refuge instead of ignoring what is obvious.
Proverbs 22:3
When the boundary is for you to enforce, not them to approve. That sounds small until it is your Tuesday morning. Christian faith makes room for reality without bowing to it. The circumstance is real, but it is not allowed to become your master. Healthy limits protect stewardship, peace, and integrity. Follow Christ in what you allow, what you refuse, and what you stop carrying. You are allowed to take a moment before you respond. The goal is not speed; it is a response that agrees with Jesus Christ.
Which piece belongs to your obedience rather than your anxiety? How would your next step change if you stopped trying to manage God's part?
Jesus Christ, I entrust the outcome to You instead of trying to become its manager. Teach me where my responsibility ends and surrender begins. Amen.
