When the cross looks like defeat before resurrection. It is easy to sound spiritual until this is the thing sitting in front of you. Not every breakthrough arrives as a solved problem. Awareness becomes powerful when it leads to obedience instead of repetition. Hope is not denial dressed in religious language. Let the risen Jesus Christ, not the present disappointment, define what is ultimately possible. Let Scripture challenge the response that usually comes first. Truth is allowed to overrule what feels automatic.

What outcome are you trying to secure by sheer effort? What would change if you trusted Jesus Christ with the result?

Jesus, I do not want an old pattern making this decision for me. Be Lord over this decision, this emotion, and this pattern. Amen.
