When the door is not opening or closing

The Lord is good to those who seek Him and wait for Him.

Lamentations 3:25-26

When the door is not opening or closing. That sounds small until it is your Tuesday morning. You are not being faithless by admitting this is hard. Reality deserves honesty, but it does not deserve lordship. Lack of visible movement does not mean nothing is happening. Jesus Christ is present in the part of the story that has not moved yet. A pause can keep an old pattern from taking over. Use that space to make a faithful choice instead of an automatic one.

What can you faithfully do, and what remains outside your control? What outcome are you carrying that belongs in God's hands?

Jesus, meet me before habit becomes another decision. Guard my heart and lead me into the response that reflects You. Amen.
