When the door is not opening or closing

Lamentations 3:25-26

The Lord is good to those who seek Him and wait for Him.

When the door is not opening or closing. That sounds small until it is your Tuesday morning. You do not have to deny what is happening. Christianity is not pretending. The question is whether the circumstance gets to become lord over the meaning of your life. Waiting is not proof that God has forgotten you. Jesus Christ is present in the part of the story that has no visible movement yet. You are allowed to slow down long enough to choose obedience instead of repetition.

What part of this situation belongs to you, and what part are you trying to carry for God?

Jesus, interrupt whatever is automatic in me that does not look like Your truth. Give me a clear mind, a guarded heart, and the courage to do the next faithful thing. Amen.
