When the family calls you difficult because you changed. This is the kind of moment that can expose what has really been running underneath. The outcome may remain outside your authority. What remains yours is what you agree with and what you bring honestly to Jesus Christ. Generational patterns may be familiar, but familiarity does not make them permanent. Jesus Christ can interrupt what has traveled through generations. Take care of your part with integrity. Then release the part that belongs to God.

Lord Jesus, stop the reflex in me that keeps repeating what You are trying to change. Make my mind steady and my heart teachable so I can choose obedience. Amen.
