When the morning after a hard night arrives

Revelation 21:4

God promises a day when death, mourning, crying, and pain will end.

When the morning after a hard night arrives. The situation may be ordinary, but the story you attach to it can shape the whole day. The temptation is to solve the discomfort fast. But fast relief and faithful direction are not always the same thing. Biblical hope is not pretending everything will turn out the way you pictured. It is confidence that Jesus Christ is still Lord and resurrection is real. You do not have to solve your whole life before lunch. You do need to decide who gets the final word today.

What truth from Scripture needs to become louder than your first reaction today?

Jesus Christ, I release my need to control how this turns out. Help me steward what You actually placed in my hands and trust You with what You did not. Amen.
