Lamentations 3:25-26

When the opportunity keeps almost happening. You can look completely fine on the outside while this is doing a number on you inside. A feeling can be real without being qualified to lead. Do not let fear become control, rejection become chasing, shame become hiding, or exhaustion become permission to abandon wisdom. Lack of visible movement does not mean nothing is happening. Let Christ meet you in the delay instead of interpreting the delay as rejection. Your peace cannot depend on forcing a particular result. Remain surrendered to Christ in the unresolved middle.

Where have you allowed one event to sound like a permanent sentence? What truth becomes easier to hear when this moment is not final?

Lord Jesus, interrupt the old reflex before it takes control of this moment. Guard my heart and lead me into the response that reflects You. Amen.
