When the scar is real but the wound is closed. There is usually more happening here than the obvious problem. Acknowledging reality and letting it define you are not the same thing. Keep the event in its proper place: part of your story, not the source of your identity. Recovery begins with truth, not denial. Healing under Jesus Christ tells the truth about the wound and the truth about who you still are. Bring Jesus Christ the version you are actually living, not the version that sounds composed. Let Him meet you at the level where the real struggle is happening.
