When the text message does not come back

James 1:5

God gives wisdom generously when you ask Him.

When the text message does not come back. It is easy to sound spiritual until this is the thing sitting in front of you. Sometimes the breakthrough is not a dramatic change in circumstances. Sometimes it is catching the old pattern before you obey it again. Love does not require you to ignore wisdom. Jesus Christ can teach you to love people without handing them authority He never gave them. Let truth interrupt the reflex before the reflex becomes another chapter.

What are you trying to control because you are afraid to trust God with the outcome?

Jesus, interrupt whatever is automatic in me that does not look like Your truth. Give me a clear mind, a guarded heart, and the courage to do the next faithful thing. Amen.
