When the year did not become what you prayed for
God is the source of hope and can fill you with joy and peace as you trust Him.
Romans 15:13
When the year did not become what you prayed for. There is usually more happening here than the obvious problem. Wisdom tells the truth about reality without surrendering to its labels. Christ is still the authority over your identity. Biblical hope is not pretending life will unfold exactly as you pictured. Jesus Christ is still Lord, and resurrection is still real. Take the unedited problem to Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ already sees the fear, motive, grief, and hope underneath it.
What are you assuming this moment says about your worth, future, or identity? Where does the story conflict with your identity in Jesus Christ?
Jesus Christ, I bring You the whole situation instead of only the part I can organize. Keep me honest, teachable, and anchored in You as I respond. Amen.
