When you already know but want another answer

You can plan your course while trusting God to direct your steps.

Proverbs 16:9

When you already know but want another answer. The situation may be ordinary, but the story you attach to it can shape the whole day. Discomfort creates pressure to make it stop quickly. Jesus Christ may lead you through discomfort rather than around it. A wise decision can still involve uncertainty. Jesus Christ can direct a surrendered person one step at a time. You are not required to solve everything today. You can leave the entire future with God and still be faithful in the present.

Which truth from Scripture needs more volume than your first reaction? What choice would show that you actually believe it?

Jesus Christ, expose the response I keep making without thinking. Lead me in truth before emotion or habit can take over. Amen.
