When you are afraid to expect anything good

Hope in God is an anchor for the soul.

Hebrews 6:19

When you are afraid to expect anything good. Nobody puts that on a vision board, but people live it every day. Ask yourself what meaning you are assigning to this before you react. Slow awareness gives truth a chance to interrupt the pattern. Hope in Scripture is sturdier than positive thinking about outcomes. Let the risen Jesus Christ, not the present disappointment, define what is ultimately possible. Faithfulness can be quiet and still be real. Stay with truth long enough to choose differently this time.

Where might familiarity be disguising itself as wisdom? Which choice best reflects wisdom rather than repetition?

Jesus Christ, show me what is actually true here and expose the story I have layered on top of it. Give me enough trust to follow You without needing to control how this ends. Amen.
