When you are afraid to succeed because life will change

Jesus gives a peace the world cannot manufacture.

John 14:27

When you are afraid to succeed because life will change. It is easy to sound spiritual until this is the thing sitting in front of you. Sometimes nothing outside you changes first. Seeing the reflex before following it gives truth room to lead. Fear often presents imagination as if it were revelation. Uncertainty does not remove Jesus Christ from the future you cannot see. Give truth a chance to interrupt what usually happens next. A faithful interruption can keep the same story from repeating.

Where has fear turned into an attempt to manage the outcome? What belongs in God's hands instead?

Jesus Christ, I release my demand to control how this situation ends. Help me act responsibly without crossing into control. Amen.
