When you are afraid to succeed because life will change. It is easy to sound spiritual until this is the thing sitting in front of you. Sometimes the breakthrough is not a dramatic change in circumstances. Sometimes it is catching the old pattern before you obey it again. Fear is loud because it wants to be treated like prophecy. Jesus Christ tells the truth about the future even when you cannot see it. Let truth interrupt the reflex before the reflex becomes another chapter.

What are you trying to control because you are afraid to trust God with the outcome?

Jesus Christ, I release my need to control how this turns out. Help me steward what You actually placed in my hands and trust You with what You did not. Amen.
