When you are caring for a body you criticized for years. Nobody puts that on a vision board, but people live it every day. Look beneath the first emotion and identify the conclusion attached to it. What repeats automatically often depends on never being examined. Your body is neither your god nor your enemy. Let Jesus Christ shape the way you care for a body that is valuable but not ultimate. Today may feel ordinary, but obedience still matters. The next right response matters more than producing a dramatic moment.

Jesus Christ, I bring You the whole situation instead of only the part I can organize. Lead me away from fear-driven reactions and into obedience with You. Amen.
