Fix your eyes on Jesus, the author and finisher of faith.

Hebrews 12:2

When you are comparing your walk with God to somebody else's. You can look completely fine on the outside while this is doing a number on you inside. A feeling can be real without being qualified to lead. Feel what is present, then choose from truth rather than emotional momentum. Christian faith is not confidence in your ability to keep yourself spiritually strong. The cross and resurrection remain true on the days your confidence is weak. Your peace cannot depend on forcing a particular result. Your responsibility is to stay faithful while God remains responsible for what you cannot determine.

Where have you allowed one event to sound like a permanent sentence? How might hope reenter the room if this is not the final word?

Jesus Christ, I come to You without pretending I understand all of this. Lead me away from fear-driven reactions and into obedience with You. Amen.
