When you are healing from church hurt. That sounds small until it is your Tuesday morning. You can face the facts without giving them the final word. Reality deserves honesty, but it does not deserve lordship. The fact that something hurt deeply does not mean it gets permanent ownership of you. Let Christ heal what happened without allowing it to become your name. Take the next moment more slowly than the old pattern wants you to. Use that space to make a faithful choice instead of an automatic one.
