When you are healing from shame

Jesus invites the weary and burdened to come to Him for rest.

Matthew 11:28-30

When you are healing from shame. The situation may be ordinary, but the story you attach to it can shape the whole day. Not every quick solution is a faithful one. What calms the moment may still keep the deeper pattern alive. You can heal without rewriting the past as harmless. Christ can make room for grief, truth, forgiveness, and a future beyond the injury. Give yourself permission to deal faithfully with today instead of solving forever. Let Jesus Christ have the final word for this moment.

What truth needs to lead before your feelings decide what this means? How can you give that truth practical authority in your next decision?

Jesus, uncover the assumptions I am treating like truth. Make me obedient in my responsibility and surrendered about the outcome. Amen.
