When you are healing from words that stuck
Jesus invites the weary and burdened to come to Him for rest.
Matthew 11:28-30
When you are healing from words that stuck. This is where faith gets practical. The story you repeat internally can start feeling factual simply because it is familiar. Do not let familiarity turn an assumption into a fact. You can heal without rewriting the past as harmless. Your pain can be acknowledged while your identity remains anchored in Jesus Christ. One obedient response can become the first brick in a different pattern. What begins small can become a genuinely different way of living.
If you could step outside your own emotions for a moment, what counsel would you give another person? How might that counsel apply to you today?
Lord Jesus, separate the facts of this situation from the fearful meaning I have attached to them. Make me obedient in my responsibility and surrendered about the outcome. Amen.
