When you are learning to say no to lifestyle pressure
Jesus tells us not to let material needs become our master, but to seek God's kingdom first.
Matthew 6:31-33
When you are learning to say no to lifestyle pressure. That sounds small until it is your Tuesday morning. You can face the facts without giving them the final word. The question is whether this moment gets to define what is true about you. Money is a tool, not a measurement of human worth. Handle money faithfully while keeping your trust anchored in Jesus Christ. Take the next moment more slowly than the old pattern wants you to. Let your next response be shaped by truth rather than reflex.
What would a clear boundary between your part and God's part look like? Where can you stop after doing what is actually yours?
Lord Jesus, nothing about this is hidden from You, including what I do not understand. Do not let shame or loneliness make the next decision for me. Teach me Your way. Amen.
