Forgiveness is part of following Christ, but it does not erase wisdom.

When you are the first person in the family to do it differently. It is easy to sound spiritual until this is the thing sitting in front of you. Sometimes the breakthrough is not a dramatic change in circumstances. Sometimes it is catching the old pattern before you obey it again. Family history explains some things, but it does not get to prophesy your future. Jesus Christ can interrupt what has repeated for generations. Let truth interrupt the reflex before the reflex becomes another chapter.

What are you trying to control because you are afraid to trust God with the outcome?

Jesus Christ, I release my need to control how this turns out. Help me steward what You actually placed in my hands and trust You with what You did not. Amen.
